200 Great Scriptures on Prayer
The Scripture verses given below represent a great variety of God’s truth on the
wonderful topic of prayer. They range from simple instruction to profound
moments of supplication and imprecation; from laments to the heights of praise;
from actual prayers to personal and intimate replies from the heart of God.
These verses remind us that in prayer, we communicate with God and He
communicates with us. As you read the many ways God’s people have conversed with
Him and marvel at His responses, it is my prayer that you will be fortified in
your prayer life and motivated to continue intercession for our President, our
nation and our Armed Forces.

He said to them, "When you pray, say: "Father, hallowed be Your name, Your
kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also
forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation."
